The Macon Pinetoppers are now accepting applications for host families for the 2011 baseball season.  Players in the Peach State League come from all over the country in hopes of reaching their ultimate goal of playing Major League Baseball.  Many of these players will only be in Macon for a short amount of time, but in general, a lifelong bond is formed with their host family.  Host families will also have access to Pinetoppers tickets through their respective player. 

What We Will Need to Know:

We will need to know what type of accomodations you are willing to provide for the player and rent that you will charge(if any).  We are open to any type of living arrangement that you are able to provide; spare bedroom, apartment, etc.  The only requirement that we have is that you must be able to provide the player with his own private bedroom. 

The Process:

The Macon Pinetoppers do not place players with host families directly.  We complile a list of potential host families and provide it to the players as they are signed by the Peach State League.  The players will contact you directly, this way you can get to know the player to ensure that it will be a good fit for all involved.  If the player that you are hosting leaves before the end of the season, you will remain on the list for new players as they arrive.
